Breathe and just “be”…

Reading the following words yesterday felt like a dream:

Findings:  A biopsy clip is identified in the region of the malignancy at the 7 o’clock position, 9 cm from the nipple, on today’s examination.  No measurable associated mass is identified.

Right regional nodal basins:  No suspicious axillary (levels 1-3) or internal mammary lymph nodes are present.

Impression:  Response to therapy of the right breast cancer.

I think that Mano and I were able to breathe and just be in the moment last night for the first time since September 23, 2021.   It almost doesn’t seem real, but it is.   PRAISES!  Glory be to GOD!  God is good, all the time.  All the time, God is good!

So much thanks for the results received yesterday.  God has provided:

  • An amazing medical team
  • Chemotherapy that works!
  • Prayer coverage each step of the way
  • Grace when needed
  • Great medication to control symptoms from treatment
  • Never-ending faithfulness

God will continue to provide:

  • An amazing medical team
  • Surgical decisions
  • Radiology decisions
  • Prayer coverage each step of the way
  • Grace when needed
  • Continued healing for my body once treatments are complete
  • Never-ending faithfulness

Mano and I want to thank you all for your love, support, prayers, text messages, cards, gifts, etc.  We know that we could not have marched forward without you all by our sides.  As I said from the beginning, this journey is a marathon, not a sprint and we are almost 1/3 of the way through the race.  We appreciate you guys staying with us as we continue to march forward.  I will blog more later about the next steps so that I can answer questions on why I will still need surgery, am I considered in remission, why radiation, etc.

But for today, we are going to glow in God’s light and provide praises for the work he has done and the prayers he has answered.

Xo,

Tracy
