Hi Friends,
Lots of you have reached out today wondering how I am doing and feeling and honestly I am feeling surprisingly pretty good. I’m sure it’s the steroids they give you which end tomorrow. I’m thinking Tuesday and Wednesday I may experience some fatigue but hoping that doesn’t happen. I worked a full days today, went for a walk, cooked dinner and I’m finishing my night with this post.
Today is about Praises:
- Praise to God that I give all the glory. He’s with me as I walk my journey.
- Praise to my pray warriors. Thank you for diligently lifting me up. Please know through the process you are carrying me when I can’t carry myself.
- Praise to my family and friends (old friends, new friends, work friends, close friend, faraway friends, etc) the Living Stones, Cityview Bible Church Prayer team and so many more. Y’all have gone out of your way to send cards, gifts, prayers, quotes, cups, robes, comfy jammies, slippers, prayer blankets, bring food, buy food, make food, and so much more. I can’t even begin to tell you how it makes me feel each time anything arrives. For those that know me I love taking care of others and dont often spurge on myself. You guys HUMBLE me!! On my rough days I will re-read each card and prayers to keep me going. With my warm cup of tea, in my bathrobe and jammies. That’ll be a picture right?
- Praise Tanner is coming. My 18 year nephew graduated last May and is going into the Navy in January but for now he can come and help his Aunt Cocky (me). He’s going to be a BIG help to us – grocery shopping, driving here and there, helping around the house – all of it! Welcome to Texas Tanner.
- Praise to my PINK warriors who have walked this walk before me – my Florida Chicken Sisters, my cousin Sabrina who is still in the journey with reconstruction being the next steps in March 2022, my boss, Heather Sneed, 8 year survivor and counting, Toni Miller, 2 years and counting, Sarah Lamensdorf, 4 years and counting, Jen Panagiotis (can’t recall your years), Sandy Johnson, 18 years, and so, so, many more that I’ve found out since diagnosis. Thank you for your help and sharing your stories. YOU ARE MY WARRIORS!!
- Praises to the Berry family for being my research team and proving such amazing insight on what supplements help through chemo, how can I eat better and proving me suc important information to be stay healthy today and tomorrow!! Love y’all more than you’ll ever know.
- Praise to Christian for helping with the dogs, doing the dishes, grabbing and putting away groceries, cooking for himself, etc. You are such a big help and Mom appreciates you for it.
And last, but never least, praise to God for bringing Mano back into my life. Y’all ha very to give this man credit. You know me, SERIOUSLY, pray for him. Through all this he still smiling and still makes me laugh. Thanks babe for taking such great care of me and for putting up with my rambling, unrealistic expectations through all this. YOU DESERVE ONLY THE BEST.
Goodnight y’all. I love you guys!
Xo,
Tracy
