Good evening everyone!!

It’s been a few days since I’ve had a chance to provide an update. I tried to stay low-key this weekend and see if I could focus on healing from this dumb sinus infection. I rested a lot and did a bunch of nothing. It didn’t suck let me tell you.  Side note – officially all of us have the same infection and are on antibiotics. Apparently, we are a family who believes in sharing. Hahahaha!

I did have my first acupuncture appointment on Saturday and the lady who did the services is a 7-year TNBC survivor. God is so amazing how he’s opening the doors to provide for me.

This week continues to be busy. I’m back in Houston tomorrow for a Wednesday morning appointment with my surgeon. My gal, Cory, is going to be my driver and my ears during the appointment. Prayers for safe passages for us. 

Currently, I’m still on track for chemo to start on Friday. I do have a few more appointments to get through but we will get there. 

Next steps:

10/20 – Houston to meet with the surgeon

10/21 – MRI and Chemo Clinic

10/22 – Chemo day

I would like to say a big thanks to all of you who have sent cards, bible verses, text messages, IMs, etc. I am very thankful for my fellow cancer survivor ladies who have given me advice, sent prayers, and have paved the way for newbies like me to SEE and KNOW that it’s all going to be okay. 

For today’s photo and for those of you who know me will know how much I love this gift. My fabulous husband bought me the coolest shirt today. I’m TOTALLY wearing this for my first cancer treatment. 

Thank you Mano Gialusis- you are the man!!! I love you!!!
